My table. The seating was really weird and not particularly conducive to making new friends. I am not going to name names, but included here is Agent Orange, n69n, the Kenosha Kid, HBK, Watertiger, Spork, and, of course, Mr. QL.

This fabric is way too expensive and way too hard to work with. It slips slides all over the place, making seam alliance rather difficult. I envisioned the quilt to be be very bright, but before I put the border on, it was actually kind of dull. The bright yellow and red really make the rest of the quilt pop right out. All it needs now is a dove and it will be done. My daughter has already called dibs on it.

Since GWPDA is 103 and has adopted me, she has decided that the best thing to do is to move into my spare room. I've decided to create a space for her in the foyer where I sew and waste far too much time on Eschaton. If I scrunch over my sewing machine and computer, there might be just enough room for GWPDA's computer and then she can archive to her heart's content and I can sew. A bit cramped, but hey, it is a NYC apartment. Whatch ya gonna do?

My cat is very territorial, so Arthur will be a problem. Until the problem is solved, I guess we'll just have to stay put. Families make these kind of decisions all the time.

In between wasting way too much time on Eschaton, I put this togeter in two weekends. It is composed of 100 blocks, each block composed of 1 large triangle, 2 small triagles, and one square. I can't decide what kind of border to put on it, if any. I'm leaning towards tumbling blocks.

Cat Blogging

One time, I swear, just one fucking time, I let the p.i.a. sleep beside the mouse while I was wasting time on the internets. Since then, it is a battle every day to keep him away from the mouse pad. This cannot be a comfortable position for him.
