While I really like the original, I decided the same pattern with brighter colors might actually work even better. I think I was right.

El Gato Negro was right. I've squared it off. Now it is about half way done. Next to come, actually quilting the top to the batting and back. Usually about now, I'm really sorry I ever started the *(&* project.
